Relieve Discomfort<\/h3>\nIs your normally happy baby crying more than usual? Are they drooling and chewing on everything in sight? There’s a good chance they are teething! Here are a few tips to help your child relieve their discomfort. \n\u00a0\n
    \n
  1. Put teething rings and pacifiers in the refrigerator.<\/strong> Avoid the freezer as ice can burn a baby’s sensitive tissues in their mouth!<\/li>\n
  2. Cold, wet washcloths.<\/strong> Your baby can chew on these and the cold will feel good against their gums. Leave part of the washcloth dry so your baby can hold it without getting wet.<\/li>\n
  3. Baby ibuprofen or acetaminophen.<\/strong> These can help relieve pain and discomfort but make sure to get the proper dosage from Dr. Payam. Don’t rub medicine on your baby’s gum and no whiskey!<\/li>\n
  4. Gum massage.<\/strong> This can help counteract the pressure from an erupting tooth. Use a clean, dry finger and gently rub it along your baby’s gums.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
